arger than life character, he loved his journey into his ancestry. He saw it as a great adventure...and it was.

He found coal miners, shoemakers, china hawkers and bookbinders. He found addresses and courtyards still in existence and pictured his ancestors living there.

Standing by a great grandfather's grave at the end of the episode, he cried, he said he never cried..."Not even as a baby."
